Rugged industrial displays and embedded process control

Engineered for mission-critical manufacturing and factory automation. ABT delivers high-reliability data acquisition, optically isolated actuation, and trusted display hardware.

Proven in the field: Metco has bought ABT controllers since 1992. Thousands of them are running inside the plasma and thermal spray equipment Metco supplies to manufacturers such as Boeing, GE, GM, Pratt & Whitney and Garrett.

AT209CE industrial message display

Core hardware

AT209CE Message Display

20 alphanumeric characters on a 5 × 7 vacuum fluorescent panel. 99 programmable messages, parallel and serial triggering, rated -20°C to 60°C. Supplied to Metco as the 9MC, and backward compatible with other legacy 20-character displays.

ADS16 16-Channel ADC

High-density analog data acquisition on four Texas Instruments ADS1115 converters. Dual I2C daisy-chain ports, switchable NTC thermistor biasing and ratiometric VDD calibration.

I2CBUS-08 Relay Board

Optically isolated 8-channel SPDT switching for machine automation, test benches and microcontrollers over standard I2C.

Your display has failed and nobody makes it any more

Send us the machine make, the model number on the old unit and a photo of the rear connections. We will tell you whether the AT209CE drops straight in.

Why ABT

  • Thirty years of industrial pedigree. Established in 1992, ABT builds proven hardware architectures for harsh factory environments and precision process instrumentation.
  • Obsolescence is not your problem. Form-fit-function hardware keeps production lines running when the original equipment builder sunsets a part.
  • Direct engineering support. You deal with the people who designed the hardware — pinout verification, custom message configurations, volume OEM integration.
