September 1, 2001 - ABT today announced the immediate availability of the Time and Attendance TA-2000 solution, an essential tool for cost-conscious businesses. The TA-2000 processes bar-coded information on staff ID badges to monitor the attendance and working hours of employees. This application improves the accuracy and speed of payroll processing and promotes improved workplace attendance. Plus, TA-2000 enables companies to measure actual staff use for projects that have been completed and thus more precisely forecast ongoing labor requirements.

ABT is pleased to welcome two new members to the team:

  • Daniel Flading, a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and the Spartan School of Aeronautics, comes to ABT as a support engineer based in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining ABT, Daniel was a network administrator for ENCO Systems and a computer science instructor at Tomball College in Tomball, Texas.

  • Art Rodriguez, Jr, a graduate of the University of Houston/Central with a BBA in Management Information Sciences, also joins ABT as a Houston-based support engineer. Before coming to ABT, Art was responsible for Web development and maintenance at the University of Houston College of Business and was previously a Senior Customer Service Agent for Federal Express.
